Prison Education in Europe - Survey on Examples of Good Practice

GHK has been commissioned by DG EAC of the European Commission to carry out a survey to identify key data on prison education in 34 countries of Europe. The aim of this project is to ensure that the future work of the Commission in this area is informed and underpinned by a robust evidence base.
As part of our study, we would like to prepare a small number of good practice case studies, covering both national systems and institutional approaches at specific prison establishments. Please tell us about any measures or projects in your country which you feel could be described as good practice and could potentially be transferred to other countries.
