Possible EU measures in the area of filial leave
DG Justice (ongoing)

In 2010 DG Justice commissioned GHK to carry out a cost-benefit analysis of a potential EU measure on filial leave (leave to care for sick/impaired/disabled family members). The study gathered information on relevant family leave arrangements in all EU Member States in addition to 5 EFTA/EEA/candidate countries. A cost benefit analysis of different EU policy and legislative options will be carried out.
