Research and analysis.

Evidence is critical to good public policy advice. GHK has experience of applying sound research methods: individual, household, consumer and business surveys; focus groups; stakeholder interviews; case studies with triangulation; expert panels; literature reviews; ‘mystery shopping’ and analyses administrative information and secondary sources.

Our research and analysis activities cover the full range of specialities within GHK. Assignments include a household survey in Pakistan covering 20,000 households; research on best practice to minimise corruption in publically funded construction projects; and financial analysis of the public sector pay roll in Sierra Leone.
